Reading gives meaning to life

Ever since I was a child I have been hearing this one piece of advice from all my adults get into the habit of reading good books.

Books can truly become one’s best companion irrespective of what emotions we go through. My grandfather was an avid reader of various kinds of books and I would often find him surrounded by a huge collection of books from science fiction to spirituality.

Reading is not just a hobby for many but it eventually transcends into their style of thinking. Reading can make you reflect better on certain issues of life which we otherwise don’t contemplate much in a real world.

Parents can play a pivotal role in inculcating the habit of reading in younger children since it is getting increasingly appalling to see how the millennial is getting addicted to the gadgets and gizmos which is taking them away from books.

Reading acts like a therauptic tool for the contemporary times where we unfortunately are overburdened by multiple stresses in life and have little time to unwind ourselves. Reading is instrumental in enabling us to give proper insight into our problems and how we can change our approach towards life.

A man eventually becomes what he surrounds himself with so let’s make a little effort in this direction and shift our focus in what we really want to become and a paradigm shift comes through good thoughts and positive behavior.
