Is boredom all that bad for you

I really wished I could do something constructive every single day to help me get out of this monotonous life. Every day seems to me like a rotten piece of paper where I try to write something novel and enriching to make my life more worthwhile while but at the end of the day all goes in vain.

This is what we all experience when our day comes to an end we start our day with high spirits to see the change somewhere but most of us find it hard to continue and it often sets in a feeling of monotony.

I am no different from the rest after my husband and son leave I plunge my mind into my household chores and relentlessly make sure I keep my self occupied. But is that all I was wishing for all these years. I started to suffer from pangs of identity crisis and existential dilemma in other words I began to crave excitement in a life.

Sometimes boredom gives way to creativity in its own way

You can be a good cook for your kids but what if you could add a new twist to your regular recipes. I started to give my food a new presentation with a dash of my new ingredients and believe me I was applauded by my family.

Boredom can challenge you to see the world from a different perspective

We are conditioned to see things in a well structured and in harmony

Pursue your passion it could be anything from painting to writing short stories which you once could not continue. Don’t limit yourself self to one stream of thinking try something out of the box which is mentally and emotionally relaxing for you.
